Brisbane Shade Pty Ltd moved into our showroom June 2019 and have our wares proudly on display from top to bottom with over 90% of all our products installed as they would normally be. We will warmly greet you, offer you refreshments, and just let you have a look at your leisure, by the time you are ready with a cuppa in hand, take a seat and we'll go from there, nice and relaxed, exactly why we have a showroom in the first place.

We were aware from day 1 that if we wanted to be the best in this competitive industry, a good comfortable showroom is a must. People expect it, they want to see the product life size and working exactly as it will in their home or business, they don’t want to see a scale down toy version in the boot of a car. A showroom is a commitment to our customer service as they are not easy to establish, renovate, fit out with our latest products. That is what separates the wheat from the chaff right there, that’s the litmus test. Customers always ask in the first couple of sentences, where would I find your showroom?

This is how we separate ourselves from the large majority of our competitors, there are very few small business’ like ours that are prepared to back themselves and show to their customers they are all in, we have faith in ourselves, we have faith in our products, we have faith in our business model and we have faith in people. Without a showroom you just don’t get the feel for your shutter, awning or blind product. You simply do yourself an injustice looking at scale models in the boot of somebody’s car, or a glossy brochure, it doesn’t make sense. You would not go to a new car dealership and go through the purchase with the consultant by using a miniature plastic model sitting on his desk, that he lets you pass around would you? Most likely not.

So it does not really matter if you’re after $1,500 worth of new roller blinds for the patio or $25,000 for a houseful of our beautifully stained or painted hardwood shutters, you really need to see them as a full working size product, that would be equivalent to what you are installing. The components and mechanisms used, along with the quality of the finish, are key to knowing you have made a wise purchase and got the absolute best bang for buck with your investment in this part of making your house a home, just as you wanted it.

The reality is that every product we sell is different but similar to what others sell and you need to be shown the reasons why one is a class 1 product that will give you years of practical use, purpose installed. By just getting a few quotes emailed you are thinking, well they are all the same really, I will just go with this guy he is cheap and close, win, win. That’s taking a really big punt, trust me. And if they do not back their belief in their own products and company culture by setting up a showroom, then you need to give companies that do more serious consideration.

And by creating this show room for you, we just put it all out there for you to come and browse, or simply get ideas. We get so many people come in with their building plans, as builders hate doing it, they are choosing your personal style for you and that’s a risk they hate taking, plus the quality the big guys sell to get builders on board can be lower grade and imported cheaper blinds. We sit with you, discuss it with you, what is your budget, what are your options. We then bundle it up and present it to you with a firm price and you have been instrumental in choosing your style, simply with guidance from us. You pay a deposit to lock in at that price instead of being subject to change and you leave happy, knowing when the time is ready we will just take that worry and make it happen.

Our showroom is boutique and inviting, meaning stylish but not a big massive shed. It is always temperature set for the conditions so you can sit and discuss in absolute comfort over a coffee and we can even set up a kiddies corner in a minute flat, with fake turf, children’s table and chairs, books and games and a couple of old fabric books so they can feel they are helping out. It achieves what it is supposed to and keeps them nicely occupied with a water and their bits and pieces, while you can discuss your selections in peace and relative quiet you are making serious decision about the décor of you home.

We do advise to plan this and book ahead so we can make sure we have set that time aside exclusively for you, it’s definitely smarter as we get quite busy, so a little planning we are all yours. And you can simply do this by booking a day and time through our website. You don’t need to be building to do this, you may just be renovating or want to give the place a totally new look without spending oodles of money. Book online lock in full attention to you, no phones answered by us by the consultant, this is your time you booked it and you get it.

Drop by whenever you like, but check our open hours or book that appointment, or just get us out to your home for a site quote, but never ever sign any order with anyone until you have at least been through the showroom, bring your existing quote and if we can beat it we will, but if we cannot rest assured the reason will simply better quality and the apples are definitely not being compared

With all that said, .we will truly look forward to the opportunity of serving you now, but is more than about now, it is about the business we get from you in the future and the tree of referrals continually building beneath you, and then again under them, with simple but really pleasing rewards to say thank you again. That is what excites the hell out of us, we do not need noisy obtrusive TV or Radio marketing designed to get right in your face, promising more discounted rubbish, uh uh, we are already building our relationships with you and yours. That is a most dignified, respectful, and mutually rewarding for all, way to do business, and the biggest upside is its very bloody easy, why would we tarnish that for 30 seconds of late night TV blaring at you, no thanks!
